Ick, what a crap week. On Tuesday Anth calls me at work and says that his right side hurts. I tell him to call our Dr. and not to eat or drink anything, just in case. After work, when I take him to the dr, the dr says he's not a betting man but he'll bet a nickel that it's appendicitis. So, we go to Albany Memorial ER (Thank God I work there) and after a cat scan, we find out that Anthony's appendix needs to come out. So up to the OR and I wait there with my cousin Gary for about 2 hours. Then my parent's come up and around 11:30 or so, the surgeon come in and says everything went well. It didn't burst but it was really infected and needed to come out. So, I go into the recovery room to see Anth and he says "see, I told you I'd wake up", then he barfs all over and my family and I leave. I have learned that I don't like staying at home with just me and the baby. i was really lonely and cried, then I decided it would be a marvelous idea to take the garbage out at one in the morning. On Wednesday, I spent over 12 hours in the hospital with Anth. It was almost midnight when I left, but I honestly think they would have let me stay the night becuase I wasn't being loud or anything. Yesterday, he got to come home, but that didn't make him any happier. He can't lift more than 5 pounds for the next 2 weeks and after that, nothing over 20 pounds until he's all healed. Which means he can't hold the baby or help out in anyway. So, he's very frustrated. His bowling season is also over which sucks for him, but he had a good season anyway. He says he hates feeling helpless and not being able to help me with anything. It's fine though. I had half a week off of work and time to sepnd with both my guys. So, that was our week... Thanks to everybody who came to see him and a big thanks to Gary for hanging out with me in the OR waiting room, and for working more at registration this week. I know you didn't really want to go in, so thanks bunches.
